I’m a very technologically knowledgeable person, so I don’t get caught by viruses or any foolishness like that.
Especially with e-mails.
This almost got me though!
Let me explain.
I had just ordered a 100ft ethernet cable off of Newegg.ca, and was waiting for delivery.
Now, as I check my e-mail today, I see an e-mail from UPS claiming that my package could not be delivered and that I would have to go to the office with the attached shipping label to receive it.
I was a bit skeptical, so I checked the newegg shipping thing, and discovered that it was still in New Jersey.
So I open up the attachment(which was a ZIP file) and find this.
They were doing pretty good up until the ‘.exe’ file extension too.
Just a warning to every, watch out for the fraud UPS e-mail!

thanks for the heads up
