Looks like MoH will be abandoning World War II for the time being and switching over to some more modern action in their next game.
“Ever since the success’s of battlefield 2 and Call of duty 4: modern warfare, it wasn’t long until the Medal of Honor franchise jumped on the ‘modern warfare’ bandwagon. In fact the inevitable was released today on Spike and Gametrailers.
From the press release, the game focuses around a Tier 1 operative from the US who does all the dirty work in wartorn afghanastan that no one wants to do. However unlike the extreme plots of Call of duty: modern warfare 1 and 2, this new Medal of honor game is on real people, and missions so you probably won’t expect russians launching nuclear missles or initiating an invasion force on North America.”
What’s interesting is that Battlefield developer DICE [Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment] will be helping in the production of the online segment of the game, so expect it to be good.
